Items: All 21 New in 1.0, With Real Numbers
What this page is, and is not
Awesome Games Studio has never published a complete item table. The in-game Zombiepedia is the live reference, and it is the only place with current stat lines for every item.
What the studio has published, across three years of patch notes, is a long trail of individual item changes — with real numbers. That trail is what this page collects. Every entry below is dated, because an effect written in January 2024 may well have been rebalanced since, and pretending otherwise is how wikis end up quietly wrong. Treat the dates as “last time the studio said something about this item in public,” not as “current as of today.”
The 21 items added in version 1.0
Named in full in the 1.0 changelog:
Black Box · Jailbroken Phone · Ragged Patch · Hijacked Signal · Access Keycard · Brave Toaster · Mushroom Mushroom · Dartboard · Silencer · Mana Potion · Fishing Pole · Accumulator · Hyperactivity · The Word · Great Nade · Power Generator · Boiling Pot · Pawn Shop Receipt · Last Round · Acoustic Guitar · Easter Egg
The studio’s note on how you get them: “most of which will be unlocked by completing the new achievements. 5 of them will be awarded as a bonus from the main story missions.”
Two of these landed on old jokes. Version 1.0 moved the rewards for the game’s two most famous achievements onto brand-new items:
The achievement reward for “Why’d You Pick That?” is now “Great Nade” instead of “Skip Rope”. The achievement reward for “Curly Little Potato” is now “Easter Egg” instead of “Jade Amulet”.
See Potato and Sanji the Rabbit for what those two achievements involve.

Items named in patch notes without a published effect include Toilet Paper, Omnigeode, Farming Tools, Metal Gear, The Bomb, Gold Medal, Jade Amulet, Teddy Bear, Golden Key, Camping Set, Magazine Clip, Reserve Bench, Nuclear Fusion, Pills, Gem, Ultra Instinct, T-Pose Doll, Power Glove, Barrel Roll, Devil’s Deal, Zugzwang Hypergaster XD, Mouse Trap, Broken Glass, Life Savings, Explosive Surprise and Power of Friendship. They exist; their numbers are not public.
Rarity tiers
Items come in Common, Rare and Legendary variants. A January 2024 rebalance is the only published statement of what the difference is worth:
“Common”, “Rare”, and “Legendary” variants now offer much better bonuses, ranging from 2x to 4x better than before.
There is also a separate legendary tier for passive power-ups — the achievement L-l-l-l-legendary! is awarded for gaining one.
How many items are there?
The achievement True Otaku asks you to unlock a total of 50 items, which sets a floor rather than a total. With 21 added in 1.0 on top of an Early Access pool that already supported that achievement, the real number is well above 50 — but the studio has not stated it, so this page will not print a total.
Shaping the item pool
You are not stuck with the pool you are given. Item Pool Customization lets you remove items from your runs before starting, and the achievement I Don’t Want To Play With You Anymore rewards banishing 20% of them. On top of that, the level-up screen offers lockdown, banish and reroll — see stats and systems for how those interact.
One caution from the patch notes: as of 11 March 2025, “All items effects are now removed when swapping an item out.” Swapping is not free.
Thanks for the feedback!
